You need to speak to an executive or co-worker but they are in back-to-back meetings for the next 4-hours. You need an answer for a meeting you have in 2-hours. So, you become 'the hallway lurker'. We have all been there; checking their office, looking in on the coffee room, casually walking past meeting rooms and peeking in the windows. You just need 5-min of their time, a quick answer, but you are foiled by their full calendar.
